Energy project with TU Delft citizen participation approach nominated for Galjaard prize
The project "The energy transition as joint decision of the municipality and the mienskip of the municipality of Súdwest-Fryslân has been nominated for the Galjaard prize. TU Delft researchers Shannon Spruit and Niek Mouter contributed to this innovative citizen participation process.

The team of the TPM Energy Transition Lab is proud to announce that their website has been launched. The Lab is an experimental lab with the ambition to perform innovative and interdisciplinary research on the development of new approaches, methods and tools for fostering an effective, fair, legitimate energy transition.

TPM master students win 2nd place in SIMIO competition
EPA master students Tess Kim and Rico Herzog successfully competed in the SIMIO competition last May. Out of more than 330 teams across the globe, the two master students were awarded the second place from a jury made up academic and professional SIMIO users.

Research into barriers of homeowners’ energy renovation decisions
Gerdien de Vries will be supervising Shima Ebrahimigharehbaghi, a PhD student of the faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment. Shima will be doing research into cognitive biases, and behavioural factors and transaction costs barriers to the homeowners’ energy renovation decisions, for the upcoming 4 years.
