Dr.ir. Ö. (Özge) Okur

Profile

Özge Okur is currently an Assistant Professor at Systems Engineering section at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. Her position has an emphasis on education. She pursued her PhD at Delft University of Technology, and obtained her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Aalto University in Finland.

Research

Her research focuses on the conditions for formation and development of energy communities, and social dynamics in these communities. She is also interested in demand response and energy storage applications via aggregators. She analyzes challenges and benefits resulting from the energy communities and aggregators in a multi-actor context. For this purpose, she mainly uses various optimization methods.
