Advanced intensive
Level
CEF from B1 to B2.
The level, depending on your particular results, will be equivalent to or slightly below that of the NT2-II State Examination(CEF C1). After having followed this course you will be equipped to follow higher vocational education and university courses. Some participants may well have become proficient enough in Dutch to successfully complete non-technical university or higher vocational education studies.
Study workload
The study workload is around 40 hours a week. This course is extremely intensive. You can not affort to miss any of the lessons! Participating in this course demands selfdiscipline and commitment.
Lessons
The lessons take place three days a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. One lesson takes around 2,5 hours. After each lesson there is a listening test for half an hour in the computer language laboratory.

Course fees and payment
The course fee for the regular course program is € 820,- excluding lesson material. This fee is valid until August 1st 2022. The prices as mentioned are subject to change.
COVID-19 measures
The course starting November 15th, 2021 will still take place as an online course: online conversation lessons of around 45 minutes twice a day in small groups of max. 9 participants. For the courses starting from January 2022 onwards we will offer two options: a group with lessons on campus in Delft and a group with lessons online. The group with on-campus lessons is subject to any change in the Covid-19 measures.
From September onwards, the final exams for all courses will take place on campus again. If you cannot sit the final test at the TU Delft campus in Delft, we offer the possibility to take the exam online. The costs for the online exam are €30,-.

Schedule & registration
You will be admitted to the advanced course when you have passed the intermediate course or after you have taken a level test.
Due the Coronavirus measures physical education at the TU Delft still is limited. During this Academic year we will try to expand the face-to-face course more and more. Below you can register for either an online course or a course with lessons on campus.
COVID-19 measures
From September onwards we will offer more and more courses in two formats: groups with lessons at the Delft campus and groups with online lessons (twice a day online conversation lessons of about 45 minutes in small groups of max. 9 people). The groups with lessons on campus are, of course, subject to changes in Corona measures. Because we want to ensure the safety and health of our teachers and students, we will slowly expand the face-to-face courses. At available course dates you can see the courses that are offered online and on campus.
