Online Communication

TPM employees are increasingly using online media to inform the outside world or to share or present their research. We are happy with their own initiative. However, it can often be more powerful to use the online channels of TPM since a larger group is targeted that way. Therefore, please let us know if you want to get started online. In addition to sharing the posts, we can also advise and inform you about the best way to use online media.

If you still want to use your own channel, please note the following: Social media works with hashtags (#) and naming (@). Using this will make your post tagged to certain topics, making your post easier to find and generating more readers and sharers. Following different channels and mentioning them in the messages is a good way to bring your story further than just your own social media channels. At least you can use the following # for TPM:

#tpm #tudelft

In any case, please follow the TPM faculty channels so that you know what is going on within the faculty:

Examples of online media:

  • Personal social media page
  • Your own social media page about certain research topics or a department (not a personal page)
  • Vlog
  • Blog
  • Promotional video (about an event or project)
