E. (Eryda) Listyaningrum

Since October 2016 Eryda Listyaningrum has been working on her PhD research at Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands) in the area of Science and Technology Parks (STPs). Eryda’s research focuses on the social capital that is produced by the five existing STPs in Indonesia. Social capital acts as a “glue” to bind the different interest of stakeholders involved in the STPs. The physical infrastructure of an STP serves as an interaction place for stakeholders involved to conduct knowledge transfer and innovation development. Eryda’s research is inspired by the planning of the Indonesian Government to build 100 STPs throughout the Indonesian region and is related to her prior working experience in managing the Puspiptek STP. In her research, her goal is to identify the factors which generate social capital in the five existing Indonesian STPs and design trajectories to improve their performance. Finally, Eryda would like for her research to serve as a policy recommendation for the STPs, the government and the related stakeholders.

Prior to her position at Delft University of Technology Eryda Listyaningrum obtained her bachelor on law (cum laude) from the University of Indonesia in Depok and worked for two law firms in 2010. In 2011, she started working for the Ministry of Research and Technology as a civil servant. She completed her master degree in 2012 on business law while working as a policy analist at the Ministry. In 2015 she was appointed as the head of the subdivision of STP promotion, cooperation, and business incubation. In 2016 she received a scholarship from the World Bank through the Ministry to pursue her PhD at Delft University of Technology.
