Dr. E. (Emad) Yaghmaei

Profile

Emad Yaghmaei is Research Fellow in Ethics and Technology at Delft University of Technology. He is also affiliated at University of Southern Denmark in Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation (since 2014). He studied Material Science Engineering at Sharif University of Technology (2000-2005), holds an M.A degree in International Commerce from PNU Tehran (2007-2010) and a MBA&E from HTW Berlin (2011-2013). He was Research Affiliate at Idee-Innovation center at FAU Nürnberg (2012-2014). Furthermore, Emad founded SATGIN Co. in 2003.

Research

His research interests cover innovation management issues arising from the intersections of business, technology, and society. This includes social technology and innovation management of emerging technologies such as ICT, IoT, Cyber-Security etc. He is currently focusing on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) principles in industrial contexts to demonstrate how industry can work productively together with societal actors to integrate methodologies of RRI into research and innovation processes.
