Turning Technology into Business

What is it about?

Turning Technology into Business (TTiB) aims to equip participants with a strong conceptual foundation to actively understand the dynamic process of technology-based entrepreneurship. Participants learn how business strategies are best formulated and how (through entrepreneurship) technology can create value.

A patent project is the focal point of the curriculum. Each group of 4-5 students will be assigned an original patent, and is expected to evaluate the commercial potential of this technology.

To whom is it addressed?

Master students, PDEng and PhD students from all TU Delft faculties who want to learn to identify and appropriate opportunities for technology inventions.

How does it connect ?

This course can be taken as a core course for the Annotation Entrepreneurship or as a free elective.

Admission is based on pre-course assignments which include a motivation letter

What is the outcome?

You will work in multi-disciplinary on assignments that accumulate in a written report and a presentation in front of an expert jury on the grand finale day.
