Biography

Karin is a teacher of communicative skills at the center for languages and communicative skills. She teaches courses on scientific writing and oral presentations skills at different faculties of Delft technical university. Also, she teaches the course 'Writing a dissertation' for PhD students.

Karin is trained as a linguist (Utrecht University). Her PhD research focused on the use of gestures by people with brain damage (Tilburg university). Her research interests are non-verbal communication, psycho- and neurolinguistics, language impairments (aphasia) and language development.
