Doctoral degree

If you are interested in doing a PhD at the Department of Values, Technology & Innovation (VTI), you have two options:

  1. Apply for a vacancy (paid position) for a PhD candidate at the department
  2. Write your own research proposal in cooperation with one of the VTI researchers.

In the latter case, you need to arrange external funding and your proposal needs to be approved by two VTI professors. The first step is always finding a supervisor at the VTI department who would be interested in supervising your PhD.

We are open to receiving visiting PhD students for a couple of months and up to two years. Please be aware that a bench fee applies. You can find more information here:
