N.M. (Nienke) Luijcks, MSc
Profile
Nienke received her MSc degree in Applied Cognitive Psychology at Leiden University. Here, she was also the student member of the Board of Education of the Institute of Psychology. She wrote her master’s thesis on the differences between protocols and work in practice as well as psychological safety at a Dutch hospital. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Safety in Healthcare within the section of Safety and Security Science.
Research
Nienke’s research focusses on organisational factors that (might) affect safety in healthcare, as well as the development of methods and interventions to measure such factors. Research topics include psychological safety and mapping how work is done in practice.
