Cybersecurity Lab

Within TU Delft’s Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, we manage a close-knit security and privacy team of more than 20 people from all over the world. The team has an empirical focus: we study the causal forces that shape security problems in the real world, as well as measure the effects of interventions. For this, we collaborate closely with industry and governments, creating visible impact with our results.

Gamelab

At the Gamelab we develop simulation games, simulations, and game systems with a research objective. The development of these instruments is scientifically driven. Together with Delft researchers, PhD candidates and students, often combined with external partners, the Gamelab develops mature prototypes that can both be analog and digital games and have goals like learning, policy building, design or data-gathering.

Delta Futures lab

The Delta Futures lab is a interfaculty and multidisciplinary network for MSc-students and staff with the ambition to become interdisciplinary leaders in spatial design, engineering and governance of deltas.

Participatory Systems Lab

Our current society is deeply networked at all levels, in formal and informal contexts, from personal endeavours and local communities to businesses and governmental institutions. Participation in such a profoundly networked society is key to individual and collective human well-being.

Centre for Urban Science & Policy Lab

The Centre for Urban Science & Policy Lab is a transdisciplinary research group working to advance urban research, planning and policy in a way that strives for just and equitable outcomes for communities. We use a mix of computational spatial science and qualitative participatory methods to investigate how social, economic, environmental and political processes shape cities. Our goal is to develop a body of computational approaches and curate evidence that facilitates an integrated systems-based approach for urban planning.
