I come from an environmental science background and I strongly believe that giving citizens a voice in decision-making will lead to better decisions on environmental policy issues. This is what attracted me to the PVE project: it looks for ways to allow ordinary citizens to have their say in decisions that will affect them at the same time using a method that policy-makers are comfortable with.
