In connection with the current safety measures regarding the coronavirus, a maximum of 25 people can use the fitness at the same time. To use the fitness facilities, you must reserve a time slot (1 hour) in advance via the webshop. You can book up to seven days in advance, with a maximum of three time slots scheduled. This way as many people as possible have the opportunity to come and work out.

If you have booked a time slot but are not going to use it, make sure you cancel your reservation in time so that someone else can fill that spot.

In addition to the general safety measures, the following applies at the fitness and Strenght:

  • Before you start: wait in the hallway at the fitness or Strenght entrance; pay attention to the floor stickers that indicate a distance of 1.5 meters. You cannot enter the entrance gates before the start time of your time slot.
  • Take your own disinfection spray from the counter at the fitness desk or at the cabinet at Strenght and clean your equipment after each exercise.
  • Stick to the routing in the fitness area.
  • 5 minutes before the end of the time slot the instructor gives a signal that all participants are requested to leave the fitness via the other exit (hall 2 side). When there is no instructor present at Strenght you keep track of the time slot yourself.

  • Adhere to the RIVM guidelines.
  • Keep 1.5 meters distance from one another, except during team and contact sports.
  • Any symptoms: stay at home and get tested.
  • Good hygiene remains important.
  • Make sure you have your Campus Card/X card with you if you take part in activities that fall under your X subscription.

Fitness is all about improving your strength and/or stamina. Many of the exercises carried out on fitness equipment focus on preventing injuries in specific muscle groups. If you want a targeted workout, X can devise a special training program based on your individual needs and skill level. The training program consists of a series of exercises such as squats, bench presses and chin-ups.

Wear comfortable clothes and gym shoes. It is obligated to bring your own towel and a bottle of water. The introduction training fitness cannot take place.

Strength is a strength sports hall, fully equipped for advanced users. It mainly focuses on freeweights (training with loose weights) and compound exercises (squat, deadlift and benchpress). All materials are geared to this as much as possible. There are therefore no fixed equipment. In contrast to the regular fitness, Strength has a special floor and materials so that Olympic weightlifting can also be trained (clean, snatch, jerk).

Please note:

  • Training in Strength is supervised by an instructor (with the exception of the timeslots on Thursday 17:00, 20:30 and 21:30);
  • Strength is a separate reservation. For the fitness you need to make a separate reservation.
