Golf is a ball sport, which you play using golf clubs and a golf ball. The whole point of golf is to get the golf ball into the hole in as few strokes as possible. A golf course usually has 9 or 18 holes, and each and every single one of them is different. You start every hole at the tee. From there, you hit the ball towards the fairway, which is the strip of low-cut grass in the middle between the ‘rough’. From the fairway you try to get the ball on the green, which is where the hole is. Once you’re on the green, it’s simply a matter of putting or chipping the ball into the hole.
During the beginners course golf you will learn the basic golf techniques, such as putting and chipping, and how to swing the golf club. The lessons take place at a professional golf course, Delfland, where you will be taught by a PGA-qualified golf professional.
