Meditation is a centuries-old technique for expanding the consciousness, and today there is a growing interest in it. There are different styles and forms of meditation, such as exercises for concentration and alertness, calming the spirit, mental and physical relaxation, and developing self-awareness. Meditation is about focusing on what is happening in the present moment, both within and around you. Scientific research has shown that meditation has a positive effect on our daily lives, health and general wellbeing. You will learn how to cope with stress, improve your performance and study and work more efficiently.

During the lessen you will be introduced to various forms of meditation, so that you can discover which one works best for you. Each lesson consists of two or three different exercises. At the beginning of the lesson you can make a request, ask a question or raise a point of interest. This will be taken into account during the lesson. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to share your experiences and ask any questions you may have.

Wear comfortable clothing that will allow you to relax and move into seated as well as supine postures. In the winter it is a good idea to wear several layers of clothing to keep you warm.
