Learn how to use the VOSviewer software to visualize data collected from Web of Science or Scopus, in the form of "term maps", "co-authorship maps" and "citation maps".

At the end of this workshop you will be able to efficiently collect data from the online platforms such as Web of Science and Scopus, and to use the VOSviewer software, designed by Leiden University’s Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS), to visualize the collected data in the form of “term maps”, “co-authorship maps” and “citation maps”. These visualizations are sources of valuable insights that you can use in writing new literature review papers, preparing grant proposals and starting fruitful collaborations with your peers.

The workshop will be given by Bijan Ranjbarsahraei from TU Delft, and Ludo Waltman and Nees Jan van Eck from Centre for Science and Technology Studies (CWTS), University Leiden. Bijan has developed the AIDA Toolbox, and Ludo and Nees Jan are the creators of VOSviewer.
