From 5 to 7 November 2019, Delft University of Technology will organise an International Staff Exchange Event (ISEE 2019).
During these days, we would like to share our knowledge and experience with you, but we would also like to learn from you. What plans and ambitions does your university have? And what creative or smart ideas are you implementing? Therefore we will ask you as participants to share your experiences with us.
We intend to organise sessions on the following topics:
- Corporate Policy Affairs
At the Dies Natalis on January 12, 2018, Rector Magnificus Tim van der Hagen presented the TU Delft Strategic Framework 2018-2024 to the public. More than 600 people of the TU Delft community have been involved in the development of this new strategy, either as members of advisory groups, or as participants in open meetings and expert meetings. Ms. Jordi van Opzeeland MA, Msc (Corporate Policy Affairs, Policy advisor) will present the main strategic principles of the TU Delft and further elaborate on the proces of getting to the strategic Framework.

Developing and implementing a global engagement framework/strategy, managing (strategic) partnership programmes, creating global impact
- Admission & Mobility

- Incoming Exchange application procedure/deadlines
- Outgoing Students mobility funds
- Staff mobility

- Student Drop out
Recruitment at TU Delft is aimed at quality, not quantity. Our part of keeping the drop-out rate as low as possible, is making sure that the students choice for TU Delft is thoroughly thought through. Amongst other things, this means more interactivity and dialogue in the study choice process.
The Delft Centre for Entrepreneurship (DCE) is part of the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management. The vision of the Center is to be a global leader in entrepreneurship and innovation research and education. DCE provides education programs at bachelor and master level and contributes to PhD training and other teaching programs.
The programs serve approximately 550 students across the faculties of TU Delft with a goal to increase their entrepreneurial activity and, eventually, the start of new technology-based firms or venture projects within established organisations.
- Alumni Relations
Engagement of the alumni community is becoming more and more important to the TU Delft. We would like discuss with counterparts about the strategic decisions, share learnings and do’s and don’ts.
In addition to these sessions the programme will consist of several social and cultural activities, such as a Campus Tour and a network reception. A more detailed programme will follow in due course.
Participation fee: 175 euro per person to be paid by completing the online registration form. The participation fee includes: coffee breaks, lunches and network reception, according to the schedule (under construction).
Deadline for application is Sunday 29 September (23:59 CET).
