Lorentz workshop on Comprehensive System Innovation
21 oktober 2019 00:00 t/m 25 oktober 2019 00:00 - Locatie: Lorentz Center@Oort Building, Leiden - Door: Webredactie
‘CSI for 21st Century Challenges’ is the theme of the Lorentz workshop that is to be held from 21-25 October in Leiden. In this workshop we seek to establish Comprehensive System Innovation (CSI) as a transdisciplinary approach in which perspectives on engineering, actor-behaviour and moral values are integrated in dealing with societal challenges such as urbanization, digitization and the energy transition. CSI needs to contribute to designing policies and strategies that enable us to deal more effectively with the complexity of socio-technical systems in an era of major transitions.

About Lorentz Workshops
Lorentz Workshops are scientific meetings for small groups of up to 55 participants, including both senior and junior scientists. Lorentz Center meetings dedicate a considerable amount of time to discussion sessions, thus stimulating an interactive atmosphere and encouraging collaborations between participants.
