Transport Thursday 19th of September - 3 x Mobility as a Service

Mobility as a Service (MaaS), consists of a platform that offers multimodal transport and integrates payment and planning, is currently probably the most discussed topic in the transport community.  The promise of MaaS, a tailor made transport offer to individuals and a shift towards more sustainable transport, is attractive, but how do we unlock this value?

During this Transport Thursday, three TU Delft perspectives on MaaS will be presented. Suzanne Hiemstra-Van Mastright (Industrial Design) will share her research on the user-centered perspective of MaaS. Oded Cats and Niels van Oort (Smart Public Transport Lab, Civil Engineering) will present their research results and plans regarding the potential market and the optimization of the supply side. Wijnand Veenaman (Technology, Policy and Management) will focus on the governance perspective of MaaS: how to organize it?
