To all alumni living abroad: as December is almost upon us, it is time for a truly Dutch themed Sinterklaas gathering. Interested in pepernoten? Then help us organise this Event-in-Box Sinterklaas edition!
Event-in-a-box is our way of helping our alumni all over the world to easily organise their own alumni events. As an alumni volunteer, you will receive a box containing all the tools you need to organise a successful alumni get-together, right where you live! We will deliver the party straight to you. You just choose a venue and we will take care of all the boring stuff. In 2019, 15 TU Delft alumni Sinterklaas events were organised all over the world.
What is the Event-in-a-Box Sinterklaas edition?
An informal, Sinterklaas-themed gathering, with pepernoten, marzipan and activities to let you and your fellow alumni celebrate this Dutch tradition.
The event is hosted by a local alumni volunteer, supported by TU Delft Alumni Relations. We will provide everything you need to enjoy this celebration (except for the drinks).
What is expected from alumni volunteers?
- Be our main point of contact for this event
- Pick a date, time and place for the event
- Be the host during the event
- Help us spread the invitation
What will we do? Everything else!
- Send out invitations to alumni for the event
- Take care of all the registrations
- Fill a box with everything you need for the event
- Send the box right to your doorstep

Please note that if a face-to-face event is no longer possible due to certain restrictions, we can try to host the event online instead.
