UTQ | Final Proof Architecture Sept 2021 | 3 August

The final proof of competence of the the University Teaching Qualification (UTQ) allows you to reflect on how you evaluate your teaching activities, how you (will) apply your UTQ learning results and how you will keep improving your teaching skills.

The following UTQ competences are addressed in this final proof of competence: 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, 5c.

After completing all UTQ-modules, you can finalize the UTQ-trajectory by signing up here to:

• Submit your final proof of competence AND
• Apply for your final individual interview

Final Proof Detail:

• Product:
  • A 3-4 pages A4 paper report, excluding appendices (evaluation results).
  
  Amount of time required:
  • Writing the report should take approximately four hours.
  
  Additional requirements:
  • In the context of the overall UTQ-assessment procedure this reflection report will be part of the material you will send to the assessment committee, together with:
    1. Completed proofs of competence of the four modules.
    2. Feedback forms provided by the trainers concerning the proofs of competence of the four modules.
    3. Certificates of the four modules.
  
  You must write your final proof, before you sign up for an interview.
  After you have sent us all the requested materials, we will check whether these are sufficient to plan the interview. Should the materials not be sufficient, we will ask for additions before the interview is planned.

  Interview
  During the final UTQ interview the assessment committee will ask you to clarify and/or elaborate on the content of your materials. The committee will also give you feedback on your final proof of competence, as part of the overall UTQ assessment procedure.
  The cost of completing the UTQ with your final proof and interview is 200 euro and can be charged to your faculty.
  
  Important: At present, most Final Interviews are scheduled on an ad-hoc basic at your request. However, it takes up to 8 weeks to arrange and review.
  We are therefore trying to formalise the process more, and will offer specific dates for participants from Architecture and IDE as a trial run.
  
  If you are from one of these faculties, and wish to complete your UTQ Final Interview in September, you will need to submit your full Final Proof dossier by July (see dates via the Opleidingsportal below).

  We will shortly offer regularly scheduled UTQ Final Interviews in September, November, February, April and June.
