25 mei 2021 19:30 t/m 20:30 - Door: Communication | Zet in mijn agenda

What is the relevance of ethical discussions on daily life topics? Ethics, values and responsibility in design are becoming more important for innovators and thus for students. Usually, ethics are dealt with very quickly at most of the study programs, but we think we can do a little bit extra!

In a series of three lectures, various interesting guests are invited to speak about a general or more specific topic. All related to technologies that are used daily but involve a lot of discussions.

In this first session, Jeroen van der Hoven, professor at the TU Delft in Ethics in Technology and chairman of the Ethics and Philosophy of Technology Section will give an introduction and set a framework for this topic. After the introduction, Jeroen will discuss the current state of ethics within the development of technologies. In this part, you can ask questions to get the discussion going!

Are you interested in ethics in technology? Want to learn more about the controversies behind innovation and the relevance of the opinion of societies? Join the lecture series and participate!
