Do you know what happens in your body when you experience stress? X, Career & Counselling Services and Gezondeboel organize an online interactive workshop about stress, and how to become better at it. Find out what scientifically proven coping mechanisms work for you. Invest a bit of time in yourself and join us!

C&CS and X teamed up and we’ve invited Gezondeboel to host a workshop on stress. Gezondeboel will explain what stress is, you’ll learn that stress is not by definition bad for you. You don’t need to get rid of it, you just need to become better at stress!

The online interactive workshop consist out of two parts. In the first half, you will examine the effects of stress in your body, different kinds of stressors you may have in your life and symptoms of stress. In the second half, we will examine scientifically proven ways of coping with stress by looking at positive psychology, neuroplasticity and mindfulness.

The e-workshop will be given by JoĂ«lle Lafeber & Matthijs Spruijt from Gezondeboel. JoĂ«lle has studied cognitive science and implements Therapieland & Gezondeboel for educational institutes. Matthijs has a background in clinical psychology and works for Therapieland / Gezondeboel as a researcher and content developer. Gezondeboel is a free online platform available for students and PhD students of TU Delft that allows you to work on your mental health on your own time.
