After previous editions in Catania and Trieste we are pleased to announce the 3rd workshop on MA-XRF, Macro X-ray Fluorescence Scanning in Conservation, Art and Archaeology. It will take place in Delft (the Netherlands) on 26-27 September 2022. On the following two days workshops on data evaluation and related methods are planned. The workshop is organised by the Materials in Art and Archaeology group of the Materials Science and Engineering Department of the TU Delft in collaboration with the Netherlands Institute for Conservation+Art+Science+ (NICAS).

Scope
The workshop aims to bring together scholars having or seeking to gain experience with MA-XRF scanning and related methods of analysis of works of art.
At the meeting, the state of the art in instrument development and data evaluation methods will be discussed next to the application of both in relevant case studies. The combination of MA-XRF with other techniques in multi-modal studies is encouraged.
