Young Alumni event at Eneco

06 oktober 2022 17:00 t/m 22:00 - Locatie: Eneco headquarters Rotterdam - Door: Alumni Relations | Zet in mijn agenda

TU Delft Alumni Relations and Eneco joined forces and welcome young alumni up to five years after graduation in Rotterdam for an evening on the Future of the Sustainable Energy System of the Netherlands on Thursday, 6 October. Including speakers from Eneco and TU Delft, a challenging Energy Game and plenty of time for networking!

The energy sector has a pioneering role in the energy transition. To keep our planet liveable for future generations, the rapid decarbonisation of an energy grid that is also sustainable is a must. This complex challenge needs both technological, economic and social capacities. It requires massive industrial electrification for industrial processes, installation of storage systems such as batteries, and setting up smart energy grids. In addition, developing sustainable heat networks, also called district heating, requires lots of stakeholder management. And how fast can our energy system change while keeping it operational?

During this event, you will get an insight in the latest developments in the field of the sustainable energy system. Learn how TU Delft and Eneco are implementing these innovations and solve challenges to create a system that is greener and smarter; while staying as safe and robust as today’s energy grid. And, of course, you will have plenty of time to meet up with fellow alumni and to enlarge your network within the Delft and Eneco communities.
