06 oktober 2022 10:00 t/m 13:00 - Locatie: TU Delft Campus | Zet in mijn agenda

Are you confused whether you are giving the right impression of your professional and personal self through your job profile or in interviews? Do you find it challenging to put across your career and personal goals correctly while applying for a job? Do you want your profile to stand out from the rest? You have to put in conscious and effective efforts to influence your public perception in the job market. This workshop on Personal Branding for Job Search will help you achieve that.

The main objective of this workshop is to provide the participants with the necessary skills, self-assessment, personal branding, group support, new insights, and mostly renewed positive energy to pursue their job search in The Netherlands. The group is comprised of fellow partners like you and the workshop provides a platform for not only fine-tuning your job market profile but also to receive support from peers in a similar situation. As an accompanying partner, it is not always easy to secure a suitable job or to find your professional identity in The Netherlands. The workshop assists you to find your uniqueness, strengths and in improving and creating a ‘brand’ of yourself that makes you stand out in the job market.

The workshop amounts to six meetings which will be very interactive, with an emphasis on the personal strengths each participant already possesses that can be used and highlighted more when searching and applying for jobs. There will be ample opportunity for asking questions and sharing experiences. The experiences of each participant will be assessed to find what already works and what could be done differently.

There will be an emphasis on creating a climate of understanding and support in this group as it is fundamental for participants to share their experiences, doubts, the resistance encountered. In short: breakdowns and breakthroughs! Hands-on tips and tricks are provided to continue the pursuit of new opportunities and the following up of job leads and applications. A structure of accountability buddies ensures continued participation and pro-activeness.

In addition, as part of the workshop, there is a recruiter session, in which recruiters provide first-hand information of what they look for during interviews; tips, and suggestions on how to respond to interview questions. They also conduct practice interviews with all participants. Active participation is required!
