Annual TU Delft PowerWeb Institute Conference | 20 June, 2022 | TU Delft X
When Social meets Technical: the Energy Transition for our Future
This year’s PowerWeb event will be hosted by the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. As designers, we’d like to put an emphasis on the role research and industry can take in bridging the societal and technical aspects of the energy transition. With that in mind, we are developing a program that will help facilitate discussions among the social, technical, and policy spheres. Our sessions will zoom in and out along the energy transition with sessions focused on the user, community, and powergrid, with presentations that will facilitate knowledge exchange among industry, academic, and community partners. We will have keynotes speakers to provide the current landscape in the energy transition and an interactive workshop so you can get first-hand experience on how the social meets the technical in energy. Please join us!
David Shipworth, Professor of Energy and the Built Environment (Energy Institute, University College London) and Chair of the User-Centred Energy Systems (a Technology Collaboration Programme by IEA)
Caroline Nevejan, Professor of Designing Urban with the Amsterdam School for Social Science Research, University of Amsterdam and Chief Science Officer of the city of Amsterdam
A lunch will be provided from the Green Village at the TU Delft Campus with the potential for a self-guided tour.
The event takes place at X on the TU Delft Campus (Mekelweg 10).
Take a look at the program for more information about the parallel sessions.
