Jesse Krijthe

As a PhD student, I work on statistical pattern recognition and machine learning, specifically to aid in the analysis of (bio-)medical data. I'm particularly interested in semi-supervised learning, model selection, meta-learning and techniques to deal with noisy or missing data. I have a background in Econometrics & Operations Research (BSc, Erasmus University Rotterdam) and Computer Science (MSc, Delft University of Technology). My research is supervised by Prof. Joost Kok (LUMC) and Dr. Marco Loog (affiliated with the Pattern Recognition Laboratory of the Delft University of Technology) and funded by the COMMIT research program (http://commit-nl.nl/).
