Sjoerd Huisman

In 2011 Sjoerd finished a BA in Archaeology—specialising in early prehistory—and a BSc in Biology—specialising in evolutionary biology—at Leiden University. Afterwards he did the masters programme Statistics for the life and behavioural sciences of the Mathematical Institute of Leiden University, which he finished in 2013.

In 2013 he joined the Delft Bioinformatics lab as a PhD student. His project focusses on combining the spatial gene expression data of the Allen Brain Atlas with clinical data to address biomedical questions.
