Lorena Poenaru-Olaru

PhD Student at the Distributed Systems Group of the Faculty of Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (EEMCS/EWI), Delft University of Technology.

Lorena followed the Computer and Information Technology track within the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunication and Information Technology, University Politehnica of Bucharest. Thereafter, she continued with her Data Science and Technology MSc programme at TU Delft and proceeded here as a PhD candidate as part of the Distributed Systems group and AI for FinTech Lab. Her current research focuses on automated machine learning within the financial industry.
