Trustworthy Financial systems

Reliable and trustworthy financial systems which are explainable and transparent solving challenges related to cybersecurity, fraud detection, privacy and compliance developed with a human-centered approach.

In research we address grand challenges such as evaluating the regulatory landscape and ensuring compliance of financial models and algorithms, redesigning the monetary system, personalized finance while respecting individual privacy, weighing value conflicts of fairness vs. accuracy in financial context and many more challenges which are aligned to your specific strategic goals.

This track is led by researcher Stefan Buijsman.

Quantitative Modelling

Quantitative research involving model development and validation, derivative pricing, investment analysis with the aim to make tailored mathematical models to cater to complex financial systems.

In research we address grand challenges such as developing explainable Artificial Intelligence models for various aspects of the financial markets such as in algorithmic trading, derivative pricing and conventional trading. We have an entire research group by the name Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics with researchers who have strong expertise in Quantitative modelling. 

This track is led by researcher Antonis Papapantoleon.

Financial Data Intelligence

Using artificial intelligence, data and software analytics along with data integration from ever expanding silos our research brings the intelligence out of the data to help make automated decisions.

In research we address grand challenges such as Transparent and trustworthy AI based decision support for optimal financial decision making, providing automated pension advise based on available data, helping with personalized financial decision making, optimising and automating data collection and many more challenges which are aligned to your specific strategic goals.

This track is led by researcher Asterios Katsifodimos.

Blockchain

Development of decentralised systems catering to solving challenges related to digital identity, trustworthiness, privacy, and security using blockchain technology.

In research we address grand challenges such as defining the future of banking, scalability and decentralization, tokenisation, green procurement, digital identity, developing trust chains and many more challenges which are aligned to your specific strategic goals.
