A wearable for awareness of your body

We are really busy these days. Life is not that simple now that we are always connected. It is easy to lose track of what is important and physical activity is something which is so often forgotten. What if technology, instead of distracting, would help to connect us to ourselves? Making us aware of what is important, helping you to change your behaviour to make you aware of your physical activity. Letting you set your own goals, every day, because every day is different. So open your eyes and take control of your life. Let the wearable design help and encourage you to plan physical activity.

This wearable design consists of a pair of leggings with integrated electroluminescent sections which makes the user aware of their daily physical activity. Progress against a daily goal is reflected in the wearable; the more progress, the more electroluminescent sections  light up and the more appealing the garment becomes. This constant reflection enhances awareness which eventually leads to the desired behavioural change: becoming more active.
