A fully autonomous digital flag with flexible LED display

The challenging project to design a flexible LED flag is the result of a collaboration between Barco, a world leading company in visualization technologies and Sepia, a strong player in brand visibility products and services.
The digital flag combines the high visibility and changeable content of a LED display with the portability of analog flags. Therefore, the display can be separated from the base for safe storage and transport. All electronic and mechanical components are completely enclosed and integrated in the design for optimal safety and water resistance. As a result, all visual attention is focused on the display and content.
Complete Autonomy & Unique Shape
As the product was designed for optimal flexibility in use, the display can be powered either by the electrical grid or 4 battery packs which are concealed into the base. The unique and innovative shape of the display is constructed from 2 rectangular strips of material, joined together to create a 3-dimensional surface with 3600 visibility.
