Management and Organisation

The main focus of the M&O section is the business context in which New Product Development (NPD) takes place. Both the strategic component of NPD (how well does the product to be designed fit the future product portfolio of the company and how does it contribute to the required brand identity) as well as the internal organisation of NPD projects (creating and managing of multi disciplinary design teams).

Studying and teaching how balancing and integrating internal and external information to make good NPD decisions results in strategically sound products and services.
