Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence
The chair in Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence integrates research in the fields of Crowdsourcing, Machine Learning, and Design. The main scientific goal is to further our understanding of how Intelligent Products, Services, and Systems (IPSS) operating in the real-world can be designed, analysed, and controlled by a broad set of (non-expert) stakeholders. We envision IPSS that are fit for purpose and that support human and societal values. To this end, we study and develop design methods and tools that are scalable, accessible and inclusive. Our work finds application in the domains of Intelligent Cities, Smart Culture, and Health.
