Academic Background

Products have a huge impact on people's personal lives and on society as a whole. I'm passionate about this relationship between products and people. That's why I specialized in Social Design: designing products and services with special attention for their social impact.

After I graduated in Industrial Design Engineering at the TU Delft, I followed courses in Sociology and Philosophy at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam; broadening my design skills with knowledge on social issues and ethics. In 2009 I founded the first Dutch social design agency.
