Academic Background

Following the completion of his bachelor's degree in Industrial Design Engineering, Julian graduated Cum Laude for his master's degree in Strategic Product Design with a specialization in Medisign. During his studies, he focused on designing within and in collaboration with the medical industry. He dedicated himself to improving the experiences of patients and healthcare providers.

After graduating, he gained experience in Digital Transformation and Value-Based Health Care by working as a Quality and Innovation Advisor for the Franciscus hospitals. He later returned to the Technical University of Delft to work on his research in line with his interests in the sociotechnical transition of healthcare combined with preventive care focused on healthy living.
