Dr. Kim, E.Y.
Euiyoung Kim is assistant professor of System Design in Mobility at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. Dr. Kim’s research and teaching interest involve a variety of areas of mobility, human-centric research, design thinking, new product design & development, design-driven innovation, IoT, cybersecurity, and design education.
Euiyoung was previously a Postdoctoral Researcher and Lecturer in the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation and Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, US. He received PhD degree in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley focusing on Design, Summer 2016. He also holds MS degree in Engineering Design Innovation at Northwestern University in 2011. Prior to moving to the United States, he worked in the strategic marketing team, Samsung Electronics.
