Dr. ir. Kobus, C.B.A

Charlotte Kobus is a lecturer at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. She provides bachelor design students with the foundations of (sustainable) consumer behaviour and consumer research. And she coaches master students on having a positive societal impact with their designs within courses like social venturing.

Academic Background

Charlotte completed her MSc Strategic Product Design in 2010 and - in love with the faculty and its research as she was - has never left the building. As a PhD researcher in design she investigated how design can encourage households to use energy more sustainably and efficiently. Next to her research and teaching activities at the faculty, she has always worked as a design practitioner with(in) public organisations on different societal challenges.
