Academic Background
Guido Koreman, 20 working experience, of which 15 in procurement related activities.
After my study and military service, I started working at Philips Lighting, for whom I worked in several countries a short time. From my final position at Philips Electronics as a purchasing manager I went into consultancy for the next five years, before I accepted a position as purchasing director at Ballast Nedam N.V.
After nine years it was time for me to move on to further help introducing Best Value Procurment, a topic I started in 2008. Currently I train and coach teams in the Best Value Approach, which helps them to proliferate themselves and efficiently get to cooperation with their clients or suppliers. I’am A+ certified and member of the Dutch 'BVP Board', which certifies candidates in this methodology.
