Dr. Magnier, L.B.M.
Lise Magnier is assistant professor of Sustainable Consumer Behaviour at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. Her main research interests lie in the fields of sustainable consumer behaviour and the circular economy with a specific expertise in acceptability and adoption of sustainable packaging design.
Academic background
Prior to joining TU Delft in 2015, Lise Magnier did her PhD in Consumer Behaviour and was a lecturer at the University of Lille (France). In her work, she uses both qualitative and quantitative methods to study consumers' responses to sustainable initiatives (products and packaging, product-service systems). She develops guidelines to support designers in transitioning to a circular economy through sustainable behaviour change. Her work was published in journals such as Journal of Environmental Psychology, Food Quality and Preference, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management and Packaging Technology and Science.
