MSc. Pavlic, V.

Viki Pavlič is Lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering.

Academic Background

I help startups and innovators win competitions, grants, partnerships, investments and other high-stake deals by helping them craft their persuasive presentation and prepare answers to potential questions. I do that through 1-on-1 coaching sessions, workshops and lectures that I run either as a TUDelft lecturer or through my business called Essentik.

My focus is not on teaching theatrical public speaking skills, but on crafting the message itself. I help innovators pack the right balance of factual vs. emotional arguments into a crystal-clear storyline that works persuasively on a particular target audience. My unique framework of methods and tools originates from my master thesis at TUDelft, where I’ve combined the latest findings in behavioural psychology and neuroscience with the design thinking approach.

Being an innovator and entrepreneur myself, I’ve learned a very important lesson: Our ideas are only as good as our ability to communicate them! Think about that! Persuasive presentation - a pitch - is like a hinge on which doors open or stay closed. That is why I’m committed to empower innovators with great ideas to improve the world of tomorrow.
