Academic Background

Steffen is coming with a strong background in innovation practise. After more than 10 years in various positions along the whole innovation chain, he felt the need to find an answer to the challenges he was confronted over and over, leading finally to his PhD research.

Experience driven design had developed a lot over the past years and it's methods are on top of many innovators minds. However these methods did not succeed to change the innovation practice yet. What are the reasons for that? To bring ideas to life was never more feasible than today considering latest technological advancements. How can experience design help to bridge the gap between advanced technologies and industrial product development? are core questions of interest.
