Ing. Verwaal, M.

Martin Verwaal is Technical support in the Applied Labs at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering.

Academic Background

After my studies in Electronics I started at the TU Delft, supporting a project aimed at developing a stand-alone solar powered refrigeration machine for medical storage. At the end of the project I got a permanent job as a lab assistant, taking care of the instrumentation of lab setups and developing control hardware and software.

In 2004 I started as a teacher in electronics at the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. There I have been involved in the introduction of Arduino to our students, and supported a lot of projects mainly in the field of sustainable products, like PV Energy Systems, fuel cells and batteries.
