Dr. Xu, L.
Luyi Xu is a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Applied Ergonomics section and Design at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. Since August 2020 she has been working on the "Data-driven Optimisation of Renovation Concepts" project. Luyi's research within the project focuses on user-centered design and behavioural modeling for residential buildings. The project is a part of the IEBB (Integrale Energietransitie Bestaande Bouw) innovation program.
Academic Background
Luyi obtained her doctorate at Eindhoven University of Technology, the Department of Built Environment. Her dissertation presented the development of a modelling and simulation approach with the focus on systematic quality assurance to support decision-making in designing a new generation of district heating and cooling systems.
