Xinhe Yao is a PhD candidate at the Design Engineering Department (Mechatronic Design section) on the topic of comfort model in transportation. She received her master degree in Design for Interaction at the Delft University of Technology in 2019 and bachelor degree in Industrial Design at the Eindhoven University of Technology. Before she came to Netherlands, she also studied Material Processing and Control Engineering in China. Her interest in the topic 'Comfort' was aroused during her master study and her master graduation project was about aircraft interior design base on comfort. She focuses on the experience of people and would like to involve users in her research as much as she can.
