M. Alonso Diaz (Miguel)

Biography

I was born and raised in Madrid (Spain) and studied Aerospace Engineering at UPM. This experience sparked my interest in composites, light structures and new materials. After finishing my degree, I came to TU Delft to study and explore this fascinating field in depth. In my free time I like to play videogames with my friends, watch The Office and practice running.

Master Thesis Project

My thesis is devoted to the study of the effect of droplet impact frequencies on damage initiation in wind blade coatings.
