M.C. Ablonczy (Mark)

Biography

I am Mark Ablonczy, I was born in Budapest, Hungary but raised in the United States. I studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Carolina where I worked in the McNair Center for Aerospace Research and Innovation. That is where I was introduced to the world of materials (specifically composites). I later worked an internship at TenCate Advanced Composites in California which is where I decided I wanted to learn more about materials. I came to TU Delft to get involved with the research going on here in the NovAM group. I am specifically interested in the new research going on into mycelium-based and bacterial composites and I would prefer to head in this direction.
