Prior-knowledge

The following list indicates prior knowledge and skills needed to start the MSc track Geoscience and Remote Sensing:

Mathematics: calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, numerical mathematics
Probability and Statistics
Programming: some experience with e.g. Matlab, Python, Fortran
Physics: mechanics, oscillations and waves, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism

One of the most important questions before starting at university is: what is it going to cost? Studying involves various costs including your tuition fees, study expenses (books and materials), accommodation costs and insurance.

Financial aid

Assuming you satisfy the criteria, studying at a university will entitle Dutch students to a basic student grant.
