The importance of urbanism as an integrating discipline is becoming increasingly apparent and the Netherlands is well known as a leader in this field. Graduates are well placed to work for urban design and planning offices, government authorities and to join research networks in the Netherlands and abroad.
Graduates of the Urbanism Track may be involved in spatial planning, the development of metropolitan development strategies, or urban expansion or redevelopment projects. Some are also involved in small-scale urban design and landscaping.
To obtain the right to use the title of Architect, Urban Designer or Landscape Architect after having graduated from the MSc programmes in question you are required to first complete a two-year period of professional experience. Read more
